Video Generator Issues: Model Error, Incorrect 9:16 Output and Product Replacement
Hi Rainfrog Team,
I'm experiencing several problems with the Video Generator and its
node-based workflow. I've attached three screenshots illustrating the
issues.
1. Video model not working
When attempting to generate a video using Seedance 2.0, I received the
following error:
"This video model is not enabled. Please try again later."
The model is available in the dropdown, so I would expect it to be
operational. Could you clarify whether this is a temporary provider
issue, an account restriction or a problem with the integration?
2. Incorrect aspect ratio and rendering
I explicitly selected 9:16, 1080p and a 10-second duration.
However, the resulting video appears in a horizontal composition
within the vertical preview, leaving substantial black space above and
below the actual footage.
The content has not been properly composed for a vertical 9:16 video.
I would expect the selected aspect ratio to control the actual
generated video, not simply the dimensions of the preview container.
3. Product replacement not working correctly
I initially connected a matcha drink product to the Video Generator,
then attempted to replace it with an iPhone product.
Despite adding the new product reference, the generated content
continued to feature the original matcha cup rather than correctly
replacing it with the iPhone.
Both product nodes appear connected in the workflow.
This raises several questions:
Does connecting a second product automatically replace the original,
or must the first product be disconnected manually?
How does the Video Generator determine which product takes priority
when multiple product nodes are connected?
Should product replacement preserve the original scene and composition
while changing the featured product?
The expected behaviour was to replace the matcha cup with the iPhone
while maintaining the intended scene and correctly rendering the video
in 9:16.
4. Credits and failed generations
The interface displayed a cost of 680 credits for the selected
generation settings.
Could you confirm whether credits are deducted when a generation fails
because the selected model is unavailable? I'd also appreciate
clarification on how credits are handled when the generated result
does not follow the selected aspect ratio or product references.
5. Workflow reliability and expected functionality
One of the reasons I chose Rainfrog was its visual workflow approach,
particularly the ability to connect products and other assets, change
references and generate consistent content.
At present, these issues make it difficult to use the workflow
reliably for product marketing and social media videos.
Could you please investigate the screenshots, clarify the intended
behaviour and advise when these issues can be resolved?
I would also appreciate confirmation that the 9:16 setting produces a
genuine vertical video and that product references can be replaced
without rebuilding the workflow.
