What's New in Rainfrog

We made some exciting changes in the last week. Here are the highlights:

1. Choose your image model

The old Pro/Normal toggle is gone. You can now pick the image model directly on each generator — Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, Gemini 2.5 Flash, or GPT Image 2 — so you get more control over quality, speed, and credit cost.

2. Smarter product library

Your product library got a full refresh:

- Automatic categories — when you upload products, Rainfrog sorts them into Tops, Bottoms, Shoes, Dresses, Accessories, Total Outfits, and Objects

- Category sidebar — browse products by type

- Search — find products by name or description

- Auto-naming — skip the name field and let AI generate a name, description, and category from your images

3. One Video Generator, three models

Kling 2.6, Kling 3.0, and Seedance are now a single Video Generator node. Switch models from a dropdown without adding a new node. Existing projects with the old video nodes were migrated automatically.

4. Better text prompts

The Text node’s Enhance button is smarter — it looks at what’s already connected (character, products, style, environment) and rewrites your text without repeating what’s already in the prompt. After enhancing, you can tap ← Back to original to undo.

5. GPT Image 2 support

GPT Image 2 is available as an image model option, with resolution options that match what the model actually delivers, and credit costs shown accurately on the Generate button.

6. Quality-of-life fixes

- Environment node no longer auto-selects a default — you start with a clean slate until you pick one

- Generator no longer sends duplicate reference images to the model

- Failed generations won’t charge credits when something goes wrong

- Faster library loading — product and style grids load lighter thumbnails so browsing feels snappier
